Dancer of National Ballet of China
Sun Jinjin studied at the Beijing Dance Academy ballet school from 2005 to 2012 and continued to study at the Experimental Class for Ballet Dancers jointly run by Beijing Dance Academy and National Ballet of China from 2012 to 2016. After graduating, she joined the National Ballet of China.
Her repertoire includes Swan Lake, The Last Words of Amelia, La Sylphide, L’Arleacutesienne, Song of Life and some Chinese ballets such as Love of Yimeng, Red Detachment of Women, Yellow River, and Closing Your Eyes while it’s Dark. In 2018, she danced in Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella in the role of Spring Fair.
Her touring engagements with the National Ballet has included the Mariinsky Far East Festival in Vladivostok, Russia and Eurasian Dance Festival in Astana, Kazakhstan and many cities in China. In 2017, she danced with the ballet in several important events, such as the Evening of the Belt and Road Forum for international Cooperation in Beijing, and Gala for the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return, in Hong Kong.
